Sustainable Healthcare Financing: Challenges, Perspectives, and Lessons Learned
AmCham is pleased to announce a guest lecture by Domagoj Dodig PhD, Head of the Financial Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Health, on the topic of sustainable health care financing.
With the aim of improving the understanding of current challenges and potential directions for future health-care financing reforms, members of AmCham’s Health Care Committee will have the opportunity to hear from an economic expert with experience in the health sector.

Among other topics, the presentation will cover:
- key challenges in achieving fiscal sustainability of the health-care system
- lessons learned from previous reform processes
- changing economic parameters that should be taken into account when designing sustainable financing models
Following the presentation, a discussion with AmCham members is planned, aimed at exchanging perspectives and developing potential directions for future proposals to improve the financial sustainability of Croatia’s health-care system.
