Meeting with Bernard Gršić, CSODSD

At the meeting, AmCham's proposals for project programming through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) in the field of digitalization of Croatia were presented. Four key elements that are integral part of digitalization include: connectivity, digital transformation of both public and private sector (modernization of private and public sector business operations led by specific automation and digitalization projects), digital skills development (digitally aware and literate citizens), and infrastructure (data centers, IoT).

State Secretary Gršić welcomed AmCham's proposals and emphasized that a significant part of the proposed recommendations corresponded to the thoughts and plans of the Central State Office and the Government of the Republic of Croatia. He pointed out that in the NRRP the emphasis will be more on infrastructure, while in the MFF the focus will be more digital services for citizens and businesses. Mr. Gršić invited AmCham to continue cooperation on the issue of proposing projects in the field of digitalization, but also on other topics that are within the competence of the Central State Office.

AmCham representatives at the meeting included Andrea Doko Jelušić, Executive Director of AmCham, Tatjana Skoko, Chair of the Digital Economy Committee (Microsoft), Tomislav Dominković Member of the Digital Economy Committee (Visoko učilište ALGEBRA), Jana Bosto Member of the Digital Economy Committee (Hrvatski telekom) and Dražen Malbašić, Policy Manager, AmCham.
