Meeting with Dean Igor Gliha, PFZG
Representatives of AmCham met with representatives of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, prof. dr. sc. Igor Gliha, Dean and Associate Professor dr. sc. Tereza Rogić Lugarić from the Department of Financial Law and Financial Science.
The topic of the meeting was the Chamber’s position paper "Public Procurement Training".
The participants of the meeting discussed the possibility of creating specialist or postgraduate programs on the topic of public procurement at higher education institutions in Croatia. Also, the improvement of the already existing certification system through training programs in the field of public procurement was discussed.
Given the significant share of the value of public procurement in the national budget, with a tendency to increase due to the inflow of funds from the European Union, it is important to systematically educate human resources dealing with public procurement.
