Meeting at the State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM)

AmCham Members have presented its recommendations for the adoption of an Ordinance on Simple Procurement with the aim of introducing consistent practices, increasing transparency, and setting minimum standards to facilitate the participation of economic operators in simplified procurement processes.

The proposed recommendations are published in AmCham’s position paper Ordinance on Simple Procurement and include:

• Mandatory publication of simplified procurement procedures through the EOJN

• Prevention of splitting procurement to avoid public procurement procedures

• Extension of deadlines for the submission of bids in simplified procurement procedures

• Enabling electronic submission of bids for simplified procurement

• Allowing access to submitted bids in simplified procurement procedures

The meeting included a detailed discussion of the proposals outlined in the position paper, and Ms. Maja Kuhar welcomed the cooperation with AmCham.

At the meeting, AmCham was represented by Dražen Malbašić, Policy Director, Ema Menđušić Škugor, Chair of the Public Procurement Committee, and Jelena Markulin, Member of the Public Procurement Committee.
