Meeting with the Croatian National Bank on the Implementation of the Consumer Credit Act

Alongside Ms. Levar, the meeting was attended by Romana Ožir, Director of the Consumer Protection Regulation and Financial Literacy Department, Ivana Poršinsky, Director of the Market Conduct Supervision Department , and Karen Orhel Knežević, Senior Advisor in the Consumer Protection Regulation and Financial Literacy Departmentat the Croatian National Bank.

The meeting focused on forbearance measures for consumers experiencing payment difficulties and the implementation model proposed by telecommunications operators. The discussion centred on aligning business processes with statutory requirements and the Croatian National Bank’s expectations to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the Act.
