Zagreb Office market report
In the new market report of CBS International for the second quarter of 2020, find out more about the current situation in the office space market, what impact the measures against Covid-19 and the work-from-home concept have had on the market, and what the expectations are for the rest of the year.
At the end of the first half of 2020, the total supply of modern A and B class of office space in Zagreb is approximately 1.5 million sq m. The supply was further increased by the completion of two new office buildings in CBD, the second phase of Matrix Business Park and Agram business & sports center on Radnička Cesta.
The vacancy rate for A and B class offices in the city of Zagreb is currently at 3.45%.
Despite measures against Covid-19 and reduced activity in the entire real estate market, companies continue to move to more flexible and modern offices. The total take-up in the first half of the year exceeded 15,000 sq m. The earthquake in Zagreb also contributed to office market activity, as many companies located in older buildings in the center began to consider the option of moving to newer office spaces. Rental prices for both A and B class offices remained stable and we do not expect major changes in the next quarter.
