20th anniversary of the Employer Partner certificate

The event brought together more than one hundred board members, HR managers, and representatives of some of the most successful organizations from Croatia and the region, along with certifiers and partners who have contributed to the development of this project for two decades.

The vision of connecting HR and business is now embraced by all certified organizations

Over its 20 years of existence, the Employer Partner certificate has grown into a movement that brings together organizations committed to building high-quality workplaces and continuously raising professional standards. Nenad Bakić, the visionary behind the idea, reminded attendees of the initial vision of connecting HR and business, a vision that all certified organizations now live in practice. Aleksandar Zemunić, Managing Partner of SELECTIO, also addressed the audience, stating:
"Over the past 20 years, Employer Partner has not been just a certificate or a project for me, but a true shared journey of building a better working environment. What fulfills me most is the feeling that through our work and criteria, we have helped companies not only improve their HR systems but also become better places to work, with clear care for the people who make them successful. This has guided us to always look beyond strict standards and consider the personal aspect of the people behind the processes. It is especially important to me how companies within the Employer Partner community have developed into true examples of excellence, not only by measurable criteria but also as places where people genuinely want to work."

New Employer Partner methodology announced

Lara Šubić Šuša, Head of the HR Consulting Department at the SELECTIO Group, spoke about the new developments and emphasized that the standards and methodology of the certificate are continuously evolving in line with global best practices, providing organizations with a clear, objective, and motivating framework for progress.
"The Employer Partner certificate has become a measurable proof of excellence in human resource management. To keep pace with new HR trends, I am proud to announce that starting next year, we will conduct certification according to a new, enhanced methodology that will address current market needs and be fully aligned with the latest HR practices. We carry out such a revision every four years, and in doing so, we take special care to introduce only those innovations that truly make sense for companies in our region."

The anniversary celebration was both a well-deserved recognition and an opportunity to jointly look toward the future of the HR profession and organizational development. The organizers thank all partners, certifiers, and certificate holders who have supported the mission of Employer Partner for 20 years and contributed to creating positive changes in workplaces.
