EU project 'Budi dobro, ostani dobro' is supporting people with disabilities affected by cancer

The project is dedicated to providing essential and free support to people with disabilities affected by cancer, as well as cancer patients who have been granted the status of a person with disabilities. Co-funded by the European Union from the European Social Fund Plus, Programme „Efficient Human Resources“ 2021–2027., project activities officially started on May 1.

The initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and social inclusion of cancer survivors with disabilities through the development of free community-based social services. In partnership with key stakeholders, including the Veli Lošinj Health Resort and the Čakovec County League Against Cancer, participants can access group psychosocial support, medical and recreational breathing exercises, horticultural therapy, and specialized rehabilitation programs in Veli Lošinj.
