IMC Completed Reconstruction of Sisak-Moslavina County Institute for Emergency Medicine Building

To date, International Medical Corps has provided more than 5 million kunas worth of direct support to Croatian health authorities and victims of the Banovina earthquake. International Medical Corps has:

  • Donated personal protective equipment (PPE) worth 450,000 kn
  • Delivered two prefabricated containers equipped with toilet, shower, air-conditioning, and plumbing and electrical connections to Glina, to provide an alternative work space for emergency services and family medicine services. The value of the donated containers is 67,000 kn.
  • Delivered destainer and disinfectant liquid for use in hospitals and nursing homes for washing linens, worth 2.15 million kn, with additional shipments planned that are worth approximately 250,000 kn. Part of this donation—worth 810,000 kn—was delivered to the Croatian Red Cross.
  • Donated a new Peugeot Boxer ambulance, worth approximately 413,000 kn, containing a range of medical equipment, including a Zoll defibrillator and portable ventilator.
  • In partnership with the Croatian Red Cross, delivered several shipments worth 1.15 million kn containing children’s food from Hipp and Nutricia, fresh food, protective masks, first-aid kits and hygiene materials, as well as computers for Red Cross volunteers and for Glina elementary school, which was affected by the earthquake.

In June 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic and following an earthquake in Zagreb, International Medical Corps delivered more than 1 million kn worth of respirator masks and pulse oximeters to healthcare workers. The organization collaborated with the Institute for Emergency Medicine team on this initiative.
