Meeting with Ms. Ksenija Cipek, Assistant Director of the Tax Administration, Ministry of Finance

At the second meeting with the Tax Administration related to AmCham's recommendation from the position paper "Increasing Competitiveness through the Tax System", AmCham has presented its recommendations on better regulation and cooperation between business community with the state administration in the legislative process, recommendations for principles of tax rules enforcement, deadlines for correction of tax returns, obligation to pay arising after the administrative dispute, the possibility of out-of-court settlement between Tax Administration and companies, issuance of tax certificate of non-existence of tax debt. In addition, two sector proposals were presented: Amended of the Act on Excise Duty on Coffee and Non-Alcoholic Beverages and Amendments to the Motor Vehicles Special Tax Act.
